Guys, what's going on today? Anything happening? xx
And now, time to get changed....
Right, into the cupboard we go. T-Shirt? Too slouchy. Tank Top? Way too cold. Hoodie? Too trampy. Hmmm, right checked shirt it is, my "spiderman" one? Yeah think so. Blue tank top underneath a red and blue checked shirt? Sounds nice :) now just a pair of dark blue skinny jeans and we're almost ready. Bit of mascara, Maybelline Bold Curl? Hell yes. Light cover of foundation, don't want to look like one of Willy Wonka's rejects. And now to meet my good old friend, GHD. I literally don't think I could live without them, my hair decides to become an afro when I wash it. *5 minutes later* all done, check phone. Nothing just yet. Damn it, why aren't they awake yet!? Downstairs here we come. Of course as soon as I walk halfway down the stairs, I realise my muted TV and iPod are still playing, must be eco-friendly and turn off. All done, and again, another descent down the stairs.
Morning to you too Brother, one too many drinks? Again. Not that I can really judge. But it's not like I go out every single night to get absolutely rat-arsed is it? By the time I reached the kitchen a breeze sent the smell of burnt toast straight up my nostrils. Nice. Anyway, mother is out at Sainsbury's, Brother is attempting to sober up, and me? Well I'm going to pour myself a nice bowl of Nesquik. 18 and still loving a 6 year old cereal? Its legendary. Could be up there with Elvis and Marilyn Monroe. Okay maybe a bit too far. While munching through my cereal a text has been received...
Sorry man, just woke up :) come round mine? We can do a bit of shopping in ktown? xx
I do love my best friend Amy. She's more of a legend than Nesquik is, and that's saying something. Shopping? Sounds good, Christmas money and the sales are on. Wicked.
Sounds good, i'll be up at yours in about half an hour? Oh and by the way, I need to talk to you about last night. Some rumours going round about you I need confirming, if you remember that is haha ;) xx
Okay day is officially sorted. Now where have I put my car keys? Crap, upstairs in my bag. I really hate it when that happens. Okay yeah fair enough it's only upstairs, but you know, I've just come down from there, it's not like I want to walk all the way back up there again, just to come downstairs. Might as well start the trek now....Left pocket. Nope, right pocket. Got 'em. Got front door keys, out the door and into my brand-spanking-new Ford KA. Girly but still a great little speedster. Time to drive.
After a long day of sweaty people shoving me to get past to clothes in Primark, we're going for some munch in McDonald's and then heading home. Ahhh Chicken Legend with Salsa, my old friend. After eating, Amy and I sat on our benched seats in Kingston McDonald's looking through what we've bought. I always seem too forget what I've bought, and then have a pleasant surprise when I realise I do actually like what I've bought. More checked shirts (that my mum always shouts at me because they're a pain in the butt for ironing and yes she still does my ironing), some banging Skullcandy headphones, lime green over ear Winter '09 design. They're sick headphones, so loud you can barely hear yourself think! 2 pairs of skinny jeans, a new Blackberry phone cover and a iPod connector for my stereo in my car. Cannot wait to get this baby going in my car. After a catch-up with Charlie, my friend from primary school, who I bumped into on the high street in Kingston, Amy and I headed home. We had a little gossip about the night before, and got some things cleared up with her while while listening to Joe Brooks and Paramore on the way home, finally getting to her house, said our goodbye's and I went home myself. Quick cuddle with my Springer Spaniel and then time for a shower before my shift.
After a relaxing shower, I straightened my hair and got into my work clothes and set off to work. 6 whole hours of standing behind a bar talking to customers who have nothing better to do on a Saturday night than ramble on about their depressing lives and children who have moved on to University to start a new life. Anyway, my shift dragged on but at least I got to talk to my Dad and catch-up with my brother, who I barely see anymore because he's either at Uni or out socializing. At 12, I finished my shift and decided to go home. I could have stayed for a couple of drinks but frankly I'm shattered, I would like to wrap up in my bed and sleep til next year right now. Getting home was a long journey, but that's because my car decided to have a strop and break down on the A24. After shouting and hitting the steering wheel with my fist a couple of times, it worked again. Whoever said aggression never got you anywhere was clearly wrong.
As I opened the front door, I was approached by my mother asking how my day was and if I wanted any food. Not wanting to be rude, I talked to her for half an hour and cooked myself a spaghetti carbonara, I love that stuff. I trekked all the way upstairs and changed into my pajamas's (which consist of a Batman top and little black PJ shorts), quickly logged onto my laptop to check Facebook, once again absolutely nothing interesting happened while I was out and then I turned it off and turned on my TV. Watched a bit of Family Guy (the one where Brian is erotically charged and chases after a racing hound and impregnates her, doesn't sound funny but it really was.) By 2am I decided my bed was calling for me, so I clambered into bed, tripping over my phone charger on the way and standing on it, plug facing upwards (that really has to be one of the most painful things in the entire world) and snuggled into my duvet. Best feeling in the world, getting into a clean bed with crisp sheets. Ahh sleep at last....
